You cant't leave Siena without having tasted their fantastic T-Bone steak, or bistecca Fiorentina as it is called in Italian. The bistecca is simply the best Italian food I've ever tasted - and that includes pizza, mind you.

Avoid all the overpriced touristy restaurants on the Piazza, sure it is good people watching but instead, walk up some of the narrow side streets to seek out better, less expensive restaurants.
