Pont Neuf

It is the oldest bridge across the Seine. Besides being the oldest, this bridge is also the longest in the city (232 meters). His name was because it was the first stone bridge was built in Paris (the former were made of wood). In 1578, Henry III laid the first stone of the Pont Neuf in the presence of the queen mother Catherine de Medici and Queen Louise of Lorraine.
