Playa de Aro (Platja d'Aro) was originally a small fishing village on the road from Palamos to San Feliu de Guixols located in a great beach of 2 km. Now is exploited touristically and it has a lot of hotels and vacational appartments.

The beaches of this town have incomparable beauty of the landscape and in the sea, with a rich flora and fauna that are worth knowing, and it is a place frequented by diving or snorkeling lovers.
