About Place de la Concorde
The architect Jacques-Ange Gabriel remodel this place between 1755 and 1775. Rue Royale is framed by two buildings with colonnades. One is home to the Hotel Crillon and the other staff of the French Navy. The eight statues which adorn the corners of the square representing the major cities of France. In the center stands the obelisk of Luxor, framed by two fountains. At the beginning of the Champs Elysees you can see the horses of Marly facing Coysevox winged horses, located at the entrance of the Tuileries garden.

Where the guillotine worked during the French Revolution. Has an obelisc very pretty. Interesting place.
