Pauillac is a French commune, located in the region of Aquitaine. It is home to three first crus of Bordeaux wines: Château Lafite Rothschild, Chateau Latour and Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
Thanks to its location on the border of the Gironde department, during the nineteenth and twentieth, industry could develop strongly. This was also because Pauillac was a major depart point where transatlantics left to South America.
The city is well-known for its visits to castles, which usually offer art exhibitions or museums. It is also famous its Little Museum of Automata, representing animals in human life.
