About Palacio de Miramar

The Miramar Palace (also known as Royal Palace) is an English-style palace located in the city of San Sebastian. Built in 1893 on behalf of the Spanish Royal Family, based on a project in 1889 of the English architect Selden Wornum.

Facing the Bay of La Concha, it has one of the most spectacular views of the city. The interior has certain common areas that remain faithful to its original configuration, as the White Room, the Music Hall, Wood Hall, the Petit Salon, the Royal Library and the Dining Room.

In any case, the Palace maintains its original appearance and it is usually the place of celebration of certain events in their gardens and public areas, mainly the Film Festival of San Sebastian.
