Obradoiro's Square

With a rectangular shape, each side is defined by a superb construction.

The cathedral and its annexes mark the side. In front of it, the Palace of Raxoi, late eighteenth-century neoclassical, which today houses the City Council and President of the Xunta de Galicia.

On one side of the square is the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, founded by them in 1492, as a Royal Hospital. Plateresque work on the cover not a single hole uncut.

On the other side, the Palacio de San Jerónimo, today seat of the Rectorate. Although it is the more modest buildings of the square, retains a beautiful century home XV.
