General admission: €8.50. Reduced admission: €5.95 (unemployed persons, students, families with 3 children or more (with ID), families: two adults and a child, groups of adults). Admission free for over 65s (E.U. citizens), children under 16; and the first Sunday of every month, 18 May and 11 and 24 September.
Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-7pm. Sundays and public holidays: 10am-2.30pm. Closed: Mondays, except public holidays, 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
The MNAC contains works of art from the 10th to the 20th century.The different sections of the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) offer a complete exhibition encompassing all art disciplines (sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, posters, as well as photography and coin collections). It is intended to give a vision of art in Catalonia throughout history, from the Romanesque period to modern times. The collection features works by artists such as El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Fortuny, Gaudí, Casas, Julio González, Dalí and Picasso.
