There are basically three ways to get to the center:
- Aerobus: Every 20 minutes from 7:45 until 20:15 hours, the bus will take you downtown Lisbon for just € 1.40. They also sell an all-day pass that allows you to use the trams, cable cars and local buses (the metro). Its price is 3.50 €.
- Local buses: Five Carris company lines connect the airport to central Lisbon. Like its predecessor, the price of a single ticket is 1.40 €.
- Taxi: convenient and relatively inexpensive option. The average price to the center is 10 euros. You can buy a prepaid subscription in the taxi stand to find out the exact amount and have no last minute surprises.
- Shuttle service: the most expensive option but certainly more comfortable. A driver will pick you up at the airport with a sign bearing your name. You can book online in Lisbon Enjoy.
The cheapest way to get downtown is to buy the 7 Colinas card upon arrival at the airport. You can do it in the newspaper shop on the second floor. At the time of purchase you can reload the card with the amount for a single trip or the payment for a full day. The advantage of this card compared to selling on the airbus is also valid for the subway.
