Jardines del Turia

The diversion of the riverbed of the Turia River on its way to Valencia to prevent flooding that periodically vacated Valencia suffered a major strip of land that crosses the city from west to east, surrounding the historic center.

The intervention in this area required a thorough urban analysis and overall project but not necessarily uniform. The design was based on the landscaping, with the permanence of water at key points to remember the presence of the river. Depending on which section, the channel offers playground equipment, furniture, circuit-cross bike, bicycle, bicycle path, ponds, fountains ... and would highlight the Gulliver Park playground between them.
