The interior of this church is also a great obrabarroca, decorated with wall paintings, gilded plasterwork and wood, made by some of the best artists. Thus, the paintings of the dome of the sanctuary are the work of master Lucas Valdés, his studio being those of the transept and dome, among others.
And Pedro Roldán workshop are the sculptures that are housed in lashornacinas the presbytery and transepts.
The altarpiece is the work of the early eighteenth century, and among other important images features a holder of the Immaculate Conception Sacramental Brotherhood and held in Mexico in the century, as well as an image of the holder of the church, Santa Maria Magdalena made by Felipe Malo de Molina in 1704.
With all these factors, the view of the interior of this temple is a rare grandeur, and a large baroque effect.
