About Güell park

This is a very unusual work by the architectural genius Antoni Gaudí working as a landscape gardener. In its 15 hectares, nature and stone blend at random in an indescribable way with elements as startling as they are beautiful, among which the impressive hypostyle room, with its 86 imposing columns, the dragon on the main stairway, the undulating bench of broken ceramics in the main square - the work of J.M. Jujol, the delightful pavilions at the entrance and the stone viaducts fitting in perfectly with the surrounding natural features are outstanding, not forgetting the Calvary which presides over its summit.
