It is said that San Sebastian is the city in the world with the highest number of Michelin stars per square meter. In fact, it is the only city in the world along with Paris, which has three restaurants with three stars, the highest rating. Thus, eating is one of the main attractions of the city. As representatives of the new Basque cuisine, renowned chefs such as Juan Maria Arzak, Pedro Subijana and Martin Berasategui, the three with the respective three Michelin stars already mentioned, have their restaurants in San Sebastian. They are also very popular tapas bars of the Old Town, culinary masterpieces in miniature. Currently the restaurant is considered Mugaritz fourth best in the world. It lies between Renteria Astigarraga and only 10 km from the center of San Sebastian.
