Welcome to Corunna

Important historic port, located on the northwest coast of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Rias Altas. The center of the city lies on the peninsula joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, so having two different sea fronts: the port (to the estuary of La Coruña, calm water) and other open ocean toward Orzán Cove, and on extending the main urban beaches (Riazor and Orzán).

Tourism in La Coruña has been increasing in recent years up to receive 62 cruise ships a year. One of the drivers of this tourism is the sea promenade that borders the city. Now measures over 13 km and there is also a tram and a bike path that runs through the greater part of the journey. Furthermore, it is a cultural tour, because his side have placed several museums such as the Museum of the Human or The Fish House. On the walk we can find the Castle of San Antón, which contains the archaeological museum and the Tower of Hercules.
