Venetian clock with a single needle that marks the hours, a ball indicates the lunar phases and the clock strikes the hours in Roman numerals and minutes in normal numbers. As a curiosity, note that the clock has two cats-shaped bronze soldier that give the chimes.

The tower is at the end of the Place, protecting the south gate of Dubrovnik, which give access to the port. It dates back from mid-fifteenth century and it was restored in 1929
