About Cambrón Gate
Shrub Gateway.This gateway was given its name because of the buckthorn shrubs that surround it.It is built on the ruins of an old Visigoth gateway. The current gateway is square-based and Renaissance in style. The interior façade has a statue of Saint Leocadia that is believed to be by Berruguete. It is the only gateway open to traffic.
