We're big fans of Turkish food and Beyoglu really hits the spot. Get the Doner kebab or the Iskender Kebab but save room for the bread!
Great for groups. You’ll need help grazing through the meze selection. - Inspector
Fantastic bread... Had to ask for more an embarassing number of times. Great waitstaff though!
We love the generous portions and plates designed for sharing, in true Turkish fashion - come with a big group of friends.
We've selected this restaurant as a 2012 Bib Gourmand! For your chance to win a free dinner for 2, snap a pic & share on Twitter or Instagram with #BibNYC. Good luck! http://bit.ly/BibPhoto
This spot is always packed, and it's easy to see why. Their staples include mezze plates, donor kebabs, and whole grilled striped bass and are some of the best Turkish offerings in the entire city.
Share a vegetarian platter, a salad, and their awesome bread for an afternoon snack with friends. Maybe throw in a bottle of white Turkish wine!
The hummus is an absolute must. As for an entree, the doner kebab is SO good. Love it here.
I highly recommend the grilled octopus - it was perfectly cooked and tender. A must!
Get the meze platter! Delicious, everything is homemade, and the small size is more than enough for 2 people to share as an appetizer.
Food is great but it's a bit noisy and waitstaff is angry and rude. Made an otherwise enjoyable environment much less hospitable.
The Meze platter is a great vegetarian option, especially on a hot day. I could easily have eaten a large plate by myself.
best hummus in the city. be sure to ask for a side of carrots and extra bread.
